Yes, the alp can be reached by car via a toll road (about 4 EUR) or by hiking bus.

Yes, even buses can go directly to the pasture. A parking space is available. However, you have to pay for the use of 4 € toll.

You can also travel all the way with the stroller from Ellmau if you are sporty and maybe have someone to take with you ... But later it is very steep and only possible on the busy road. There is no hiking trail from Ellmau.

There is a gentleman sitting there in a chair and collects the toll ;-) from when he is there I do not know but there is also no barrier or something.
